Uniprint upgrades their 6 color Vision to 8 color.
The South African print environment is currently experiencing increased demand for direct mail products and Uniprint (based in Durban) are extending their capacity in this area.
Uniprint has therefore requested DG press ServiceS to upgrade their current 6-colour Vision with 2 additional printing units to compliment their existing 8 colour press.
Bharat Mehta, director of Uniprint, feels that one of the strong points of the modular Vision concept is the ease with which upgrades can be carried out and he now wants to utilize this opportunity. “We looked closely at the upgrade plan and I am very confident that this reconfiguration can be implemented within a maximum of one week by the people of DG press ServiceS. We simply can’t afford the risk of any additional downtime” he continued.
The press will be ready to produce high quality print in its new setting by the end of January 2010.
