DG press ServiceS premieres at Labelexpo Asia 2011
Eerbeek, October 27, 2011. DG press ServiceS, internationally renowned for its meticulous service on Drent Goebel machines, is pleased to announce their participation at Labelexpo Asia 2011 in Shanghai (November 29 –December 2, 2011). The first time exhibitor will present its latest technology solutions for the label printing market.
Introduced at Labelexpo in Brussels in September, the new Vision SP narrow web offset press that enables high quality printing on thin foils, as well as many other specified label substrates and papers as well as aluminum and laminates, will be showcased. The unique features of the press make it ideal to produce offset quality food and non-food packaging, bottle wrappers, shrink sleeves and even in-mould labels. DG press ServiceS now offers the new Vision SP not only in 520 mm width, but also 850 mm width.
“Printers can produce labels, packaging and all their other jobs cost-effectively on the new Vision SP press that enables 100% register printing”, says Peter Kloppers, Director of DG Press ServiceS. “The modularity of the 520 mm wide press enables the implementation of coating and white printing units for printing on transparent or aluminum foil.”
Existing Vision press users can upgrade their presses to experience the unique features that Vision SP presses offer thus enabling predictable print results, efficiency and fast job format changes.

About Vision SP presses
The Vision SP uses conventional offset printing plates and its print quality is comparable to sheet-fed offset presses. Vision SP is a modular web offset printing press. The newly developed press employs a unique feature by having servo-motor driven impression cylinders that are separately driven from the plate and blanket cylinders. Web tension between the printing units is arranged in such a way that even print on thinner foils results in 100% register printing. Besides films, the Vision SP is also suitable for printing on paper and even lightweight cardboards including small folding cartons. Variable cut-off is taken care of by 2 cylinder cassettes that are interchangeable. These cassettes are only required for the plate and blanket cylinders while the separately driven impression cylinders do not need to be exchanged.
